MOESIA INFERIOR, Odessus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Pentassarion (27mm, 13.00 g, 7h). Confronted busts of Gordian III, laureate, draped and cuirassed, and Serapis, draped and wearing calathus, with cornucopia over shoulder / Homonoia, holding patera and cornucopia, standing facing within tetrastyle temple; pediment decorated with Sol in facing quadriga. AMNG I 2360 var. (obv. legend); Varbanov 4540-4541 var. (same). VF, black patina, surfaces a little rough.
